Rescue cat for adoption in Tarragindi, Brisbane: Chloe is the last of the kittens to come from a very successful trapping program that Pets Without Partners conducted to contain and socialise and re-home a feral colony of cats and kittens at a Brisbane city hospital. This dear girl Chloe has gone from an extremely frightened, unsociable, 6 month old kitten, in to a silky soft (to touch) white adult with beautiful mackerel tabby markings down her back and tail. Although Chloe still maintains a quiet alertness, she has gone from "don't come near me, let alone dare try to touch me" and hiding most of the time, to "oh yes, I do enjoy long strokes and gentle pats" by responding with lots of purring and wanting more!Chloe enjoys a quiet life, be that sleeping on the bed or sunning herself in a window, and her confidence sees her chill out completely in familiar surroundings. Chloe has integrated well with her carers household cats and indeed has become part of the furniture. Her basic nature sees her most balanced when she spends some time free to be outdoors and then indoors for feeding and sleeping at night however this would be after a period of adjustment to new surroundings. Chloe is a sweet and gentle little soul, who will inhabit your heart given time, space and patience. Adoption Process
