Hollywood – female oriental cross manx cat
Rescue cat for adoption in Greenslopes, Brisbane: *adoption pending* This stunning little oriental-cross-manx is a bit of a minx! We nicknamed her “Miss Hollywood” as she is such a D.I.V.A…..typical of her mixed breeds, Holly is gregarious and spirited – she is a cat who will never be boring!
Confident Holly does not suffer from shyness and will quickly greet visitors with an inquisitive sniff and a welcoming leg rub. Life, according to her, is meant to be lived fast! While it is nice to have a snooze, it’s also great to fly through crinkly tunnels and bounce very high into the air. With her genetics, she is athletic and loves play that involves running, jumping, hiding, and grabbing at toys.
Her preferred relaxation spot is beside a window, where she’ll happily daydream for hours. Food is a passion and she is never far away if you are having a snack or even a drink. She particularly likes smoked ham as a little treat.
With her exotic markings, and striking green eyes framed by a petite pixie face, her cute little manx tail only adds to her physical charm.
Holly does not enjoy being picked up, but will seek out company by sitting on the couch or desk near you, and will sometimes sleep on the bed. She has a very quiet purr and rarely talks, and will always sleep through the night, stirring only when you do. Once the lights are turned off, Holly knows it’s bedtime and has very good manners not to wake you before sunrise! She is also a very good traveller in the car, settling down for a nap almost as soon as you start to drive off.
With her energetic and independent spirit, she is suited to an adult-only home. As Holly sees no need to tolerate other felines, she is only suited to households that don’t have another cat.
If you’re looking for a slightly eccentric cat that is full of surprises and just wants someone to love and admire her, two year old Holly is a unique choice. If you’re after a quiet, laid back cat we recommend you look at others!
