Gidget – female domestic short hair kitten

IMG_0095 gigette

Rescue kitten for adoption in Cleveland; Brisbane: *on hold* Little Gidget is such a gentle soul. A regal Princess. She is delicate and ladylike and loves the soft, finer things in life.  Gidget can take or leave the other kittens or dogs but she will NOT be without her cuddles.  She has the quietest little purr and a graceful, sleek and slinky walk.  She is definitely not a “naughty tortie”. She doesn’t play as rough or hard as her siblings, preferring to play with toys or balls of paper rather than wrestle. She would be fine as the only cat in her castle with her loyal subjects and we think, given her nature, that she would be happiest in a single cat, quiet, home.

Medical Notes

Not long after coming in to our care, Gidget started sneezing and her eyes were running. These symptoms are commonly consistent with cat flu. While she is fully recovered, and may not ever display these symptoms again, cat flu is contagious (to cats only) so our recommendations are that she is adopted with another cat flu kitten, like her sister Gigi, or as a single kitten.  Gidget is approximately 3 months of age.

Adoption Process

Our cats and kittens are covered by a 30 day settling in period. If you don’t believe the cat or kitten you’ve chosen is suitable, he or she may be returned to us and your adoption fee will be refunded in full.  Our adoption fee of $170 includes a veterinary health check, microchip, desexing at one of our recommended vets, up to date intestinal worm and flea treatment and minimum first F3 vaccination (unless the kitten is still in foster when the booster vaccination is due, this will be included in the adoption fee).  Applicants wanting to adopt a kitten less than 20 weeks of age must be located within a reasonable proximity to one of our participating Brisbane vets.

Please note that we do not freight our kittens or cats.  Adoption applications can be completed on-line where you’ll find the appropriate links (to the forms) on our home page.  If you would prefer to speak to one of our adoption co-ordinators, please call Janene on 0432 405 474 or email
