Wookie – male domestic short hair kitten

IMG_0370 wockieRescue kitten for adoption in Thornlands, Brisbane: My name is Wookie because when I was tiny, my foster mum thought I looked like a little Ewok that’s how I got my name, a very cute Ewok though. I am a very chatty little man if you talk to me I will talk back to you in the cutest little squeak. I just love to follow my foster mum around and help her with chores, I especially love helping her if she is on her i-pad if I head butt her hand enough she gives in and lets me have my mouse game on.
My favourite toy is a piece of fur I carry this around everywhere…mum finds it in her bed, in her work shoes and even in her handbag. I am a total loving lap cat – if you sit down, I want to be on your lap constantly reminding you I just love my head to be rubbed patted and stroked. When I’m really tired I love to be cuddled like a baby, but hey I am a baby after all!

When it comes to bed time I’ll race you to bed, my favourite spot is laying right next to my foster mum when I just know if she moves her hand I’m right in there for a head rub.
I’m great around other cats and love to play with them, I’m not so sure about dogs yet I’ve only looked at them through the window so far. I love playing with children but only very gentle ones I get rather scared of rough loud things.
I’m sure I’m going to be super happy in my permanent home lapping up all the cuddles and pats I can get.

Adoption Process

Our cats and kittens are covered by a 30 day settling in period. If you don’t believe the cat or kitten you’ve chosen is suitable, he or she may be returned to us and your adoption fee will be refunded in full.  Our adoption fee of $170 includes a veterinary health check, microchip, desexing at one of our recommended vets, up to date intestinal worm and flea treatment and minimum first F3 vaccination (unless the kitten is still in foster when the booster vaccination is due, this will be included in the adoption fee).  Applicants wanting to adopt a kitten less than 20 weeks of age must be located within a reasonable proximity to one of our participating Brisbane vets.

Please note that we do not freight our kittens or cats.  Adoption applications can be completed on-line where you’ll find the appropriate links (to the forms) on our home page.  If you would prefer to speak to one of our adoption co-ordinators, please call Ana on 0466 631 164  or email
