Chat – male domestic short hair kitten

IMG_1115 chatRescue kitten for adoption in Thornlands, Brisbane: This is Chat, he is a real snuggle pot! He was a bottle fed rescue baby, so he has a real affinity with his humans and loves to be with them. He loves helping with chores around the house, or should we say making more chores, he loves bringing in leaves from the cat enclosure and plays with them for ages then shreds them.

Chat gets along well with all the foster home’s other cats – he does like the company of a cat to play with, Pumba his brother is his best buddy, they are always wrestling with each other, or sharing a drink at the fountain and eating dinner together. He is a social little man he loves being picked up by visitors and having a cuddle and he will snuggle with nearly everyone.

Chat just loves to share breakfast with you, his favourite is toast, as soon as you sit down he’s there waiting for his toast corner. He also would love to share your dinner with you (we are still learning our table manners).

Chat seems to be a little unsure of small children he tends to hide if they are here so we feel he would suit an older age household.  Chat has not met the foster carer’s dogs so we are not sure how he will be with dogs – with the right introductions he should be fine.

Adoption Process

Our cats and kittens are covered by a 30 day settling in period. If you don’t believe the cat or kitten you’ve chosen is suitable, he or she may be returned to us and your adoption fee will be refunded in full.

Our adoption fee includes a veterinary health check, microchip, desexing at one of our recommended vets, up to date intestinal worm and flea treatment and minimum first F3 vaccination (unless the kitten is still in foster when the booster vaccination is due, this will be included in the adoption fee)

Applicants wanting to adopt a kitten less than 20 weeks of age must be located within a reasonable proximity to one of our participating Brisbane vets.

Please note that we do not freight our kittens or cats.

Adoption applications can be completed on-line at www.petswithoutpartners.org.au where you’ll find the appropriate links (to the forms) on our home page.
