Julius – male domestic short hair adult cat
Rescue cat for adoption in Tingalpa, Brisbane: Julius is the ULTIMATE LAP CAT! If you sit, he sits! He loves to relax and snooze in your lap and is most disappointed if you have to get up. He also loves to lie in bed with you and will often get in under the covers to snuggle in beside you. He is a very confident and playful kitty and has been living in a multi-animal foster home with other cats and small dogs. He is social, but can be pushy, so he would not suit a home with soft-natured or nervous cats or dogs.
Julius’ background is a bit patchy. He was found by a lovely family when they bought their house from a deceased estate, along with his female companion, Motif, and Patsy, who we believe may be their daughter. They were camping in the family’s garage and playing in the trees in their yard. Several months went by as they tried repeatedly to find their owner, but to no avail. Sadly they had collars (with no identification) however were not microchipped. The family had two cats of their own, so even though they loved them, they knew families had to be found for the trio .All three kitties are very affectionate, so they must have been loved once. They get along with each other very well, so would be ideal companions if adopted in pairs or as a family, but are also independent.
Julius is estimated to be around 12 months old. He loves his food and he is not fussy. As you can see, Julius is a very handsome boy. His coat is soft and low maintenance and his seal point tabby colouring is not one we see often in our care. He gets squinty eyes when he is happy, so it looks like he is grinning like a maneki-neko. If you are looking for a cat that enjoys company and is affectionate without being dependent, then delightful boy could be the right match for you.
Our cats and kittens are covered by a 30 day settling in period. If you don’t believe the cat or kitten you’ve chosen is suitable, he or she may be returned to us and your adoption fee will be refunded in full. Julius’s adoption fee of $150 includes a veterinary health check, microchip, desexing, F3 vaccination and he is up to date intestinal worm and flea treatments.
