Rescue cat for adoption in Cleveland, Brisbane: When it comes good company, there’s nothing quite like a conversation with an understanding cat who agrees with anything and everything. You can rant until your throat is dry and she’ll still meow softy, acknowledging your conversation. Izzy isn’t a vocal cat, however she does like to have a chat, so vent away, she gets it, in a non-annoying way!

3 year old Izzy took a week or so to settle in her foster home. As a stray cat, we have to build a profile based on what we know. Izzy has a healthy relationship with her carer’s two small breed dogs. We can’t be sure what she’s like with small children, however she’s quite social with adult company.

This gentle little princess does like to cuddle up with her human companions. She’s so clean, with a pure white coat, and her golden eyes are mesmerising.

Izzy has access to an enclosure where there’s enough sun to keep her warm without being able to bask in direct sunlight. Cats with pink ears and noses are susceptible to skin cancer, so we’re recommending an indoors only home, or the convenience of a safe enclosure.  Our gut feel is that Izzy will be happiest with a mature owner. We don’t think she’ll be put out by a friendly dog, or another cat.  Please know that like all cats, Izzy loses fur. If you wear a lot of black clothing, you may not appreciate her hair. While the majority of cat and dog owners deal with white fur on black clothes, it’s not to everyone’s liking.

Adoption Process

Our adoption fee of $150 includes a veterinary health check, vaccinations, microchip and spay/neuter, as required. Our kittens, adult cats, puppies and adult dogs are covered by a 30 day “settling in period.” If you don’t believe the pet you chose is suitable, he or she may be returned to us and your adoption fee will be refunded in full. Existing health conditions are addressed at the time of the initial veterinary consultation and declared in the “medical notes” on their individual listing.

During the “settling in period” we offer assurance to address any health concerns, pre-existing or otherwise, provided they are brought to our attention within 30 days from the date of adoption. This excludes any illness or injury is deemed accidental or deliberate. In the former instance, we will recommend you make an appointment with one of our participating vets for a consultation. Should you choose to use a vet of your own choice, we will not be responsible for the reimbursement of your vet fees.  Applicants wanting to adopt a kitten less than 20 weeks of age must be located within a reasonable proximity to one of our participating Brisbane vets.

Please note that we do not freight our kittens, adult cats, puppies or adult dogs.  Adoption applications can be completed on-line at
