Persephone and Pip – Dual Adoption female domestic short hair kittens

Rescue kittens for adoption in Capalaba, Brisbane: Some things are just meant to go together, like milk and cookies, pancakes and syrup, ice cream and topping. Sisters Persephone and Pip are two such things. They complement each other like a fabulous dress with the right pair of shoes.

Persephone is the feisty one who won’t hesitate to give you her opinion on everything. She has a very distinctive meow which she uses to her advantage to make her wishes known, whether it’s for attention, food, toys, or just to hear the sound of her own voice! This stunning girl has the beautiful markings of a Mackeral tabby and a coat that is like silk to touch.

Little Pip is a gorgeous blue/cream girl who though smaller than her sister is still up for a game rough and tumble from time to time. Pip has been a bit of a late bloomer and finds reassurance in the company of her more confident sister. Both girls love to play with toys, their favourite toys though are pieces of scrunched up paper which they love to chase and steal from each other.

They will carry them around in their mouths to ensure the other one can’t get it! Sephe can be picked up for a cuddle but it won’t be long before she asks to be put down as she prefers to play. Pip on the other hand is quite happy to be cuddled like a baby in your arms and will trill with delight. Each of them love to sleep with you on your bed if allowed. Both girls have been fostered in a home with 3 older children, 2 small dogs and a multitude of cats of different ages.

Besides the many benefits of two kittens growing up together to be lifelong friends and besides the fact that you will be receiving double the love there is another reason to consider a dual adoption. Adopting two cats actually saves four lives, the two you are adopting and the two who will be able to be rescued due to additional space, a priceless second chance thanks to your adoption. So if you are after a ready made family what could be better than two lovable girls who go together like a wink and a smile.

The girls are approximately 11 weeks old and the dual adoption fee is $320.

Adoption Process

Our adoption fee includes a veterinary health check, vaccinations, microchip and spay/neuter, as required. Our kittens, adult cats, puppies and adult dogs are covered by a 30 day “settling in period.” If you don’t believe the pet you chose is suitable, he or she may be returned to us and your adoption fee will be refunded in full. Existing health conditions are addressed at the time of the initial veterinary consultation and declared in the “medical notes” on their individual listing. During the “settling in period” we offer assurance to address any health concerns, pre-existing or otherwise, provided they are brought to our attention within 30 days from the date of adoption. This excludes any illness or injury is deemed accidental or deliberate. In the former instance, we will recommend you make an appointment with one of our participating vets for a consultation. Should you choose to use a vet of your own choice, we will not be responsible for the reimbursement of your vet fees. Applicants wanting to adopt a kitten less than 20 weeks of age must be located within a reasonable proximity to one of our participating Brisbane vets. Please note that we do not freight our kittens, adult cats, puppies or adult dogs.
