Dinah – female domestic short hair adolescent cat

Rescue adolescent cat for adoption in Tingalpa, Brisbane: Georgeous Dinah is a darling little cat who loves to play with most things, however her “go to” play thing are straws! She spies them a mile away and will even take the one sitting in your glass. She also is fascinated with water and will often jump in the sink in the hopes you will turn the tap on so she can play with the water and watch it move. She is also affectionate, enjoys a good chin rub and loves to snuggle with you in bed.

Dinah lives very happily with a couple of small, polite dogs and a group of confident adult cats. She’s so confident that she even enjoys grooming one of the dogs’ ears and playing with her wagon tail. Dinah would be best suited as indoor cats due to their white coats and pink ears, and would do well in a house with adults or a family with older children.

Dinah also has a brother, Squeak, and while we’d love to see this bonded care adopted together, we are open to separating them. They are a very special pair who will bring their new family much love, and laughter, so we are looking for an equally special home.

Have you got what it takes to be Dinah’s new owner? You’ll need to provide lots of love and be prepared for double trouble, in the best possible way.

Dinah’s date of birth is approximately 1/12/2013.  Her adoption fee of $150 includes surgical sterilisation, microchip, vaccinations to date, and regular treatments for intestinal worm and fleas.

Thank you to Sam from Tails Photography for her beautiful photos of these two.

Adoption Process

Our adoption fee includes a veterinary health check, vaccinations, microchip and spay/neuter, as required. Our kittens, adult cats, puppies and adult dogs are covered by a 30 day “settling in period.” If you don’t believe the pet you chose is suitable, he or she may be returned to us and your adoption fee will be refunded in full. Existing health conditions are addressed at the time of the initial veterinary consultation and declared in the “medical notes” on their individual listing.

During the “settling in period” we offer assurance to address any health concerns, pre-existing or otherwise, provided they are brought to our attention within 30 days from the date of adoption. This excludes any illness or injury is deemed accidental or deliberate. In the former instance, we will recommend you make an appointment with one of our participating vets for a consultation. Should you choose to use a vet of your own choice, we will not be responsible for the reimbursement of your vet fees.

Applicants wanting to adopt a kitten less than 20 weeks of age must be located within a reasonable proximity to one of our participating Brisbane vets.

Please note that we do not freight our kittens, adult cats, puppies or adult dogs.

Adoption applications can be completed on-line at where you’ll find the appropriate links (to the forms) on our home page.
