Cinnamon – male domestic short hair cat

Cinnamon 2

Rescue cat for adoption in Ferny Grove:  Meet Cinnamon, an adorable black cat who will keep you entertained and reward your attention with loud purrs.

Cinnamon is quite possibly the most playful cat we’ve had, even though he’s no longer a young kitten he has plenty of energy.  He enjoys playing with other cats but can also entertain himself quite well.  He will tear around the lounge room, jumping up and down the cat tree and playing with random toys along the way, meowing and making noises at the same time.  It’s quite entertaining to watch and listen to!

Once he’s done playing he will settle down for a nap, preferring to be with another person or cat.  If he’s not trying to cuddle up to a cat and grooming them, he will be on your lap, or next to you.  He loves company of all sorts and will usually follow you around the house, probably purring.  It doesn’t take much to get him to purr!  He loves cuddles and pats, usually asking to be picked up in the morning and when I get home from work.

Cinnamon will spend the night by your side in bed, or by your feet.  There has rarely been a night gone by without him nearby.

He is great with other cats, I don’t think I’ve ever heard him hiss or seen him swipe other than playfully.  He is definitely a lover and not a fighter.  He is also comfortable around dogs, and would easily integrate into a family environment with kids or other pets.

His approximate date of birth is 3 February 2015 and his adoption fee is $150.

Adoption Process

Our adoption fee includes a veterinary health check, vaccinations, microchip and spay/neuter, as required. Our kittens, adult cats, puppies and adult dogs are covered by a 30 day “settling in period.” If you don’t believe the pet you chose is suitable, he or she may be returned to us and your adoption fee will be refunded in full. Existing health conditions are addressed at the time of the initial veterinary consultation and declared in the “medical notes” on their individual listing.

During the “settling in period” we offer assurance to address any health concerns, pre-existing or otherwise, provided they are brought to our attention within 30 days from the date of adoption. This excludes any illness or injury is deemed accidental or deliberate. In the former instance, we will recommend you make an appointment with one of our participating vets for a consultation. Should you choose to use a vet of your own choice, we will not be responsible for the reimbursement of your vet fees.

Applicants wanting to adopt a kitten less than 20 weeks of age must be located within a reasonable proximity to one of our participating Brisbane vets.

Please note that we do not freight our kittens, adult cats, puppies or adult dogs.

Adoption applications can be completed on-line at where you’ll find the appropriate links (to the forms) on our home page.
