Theo – male domestic short hair kitten
Rescue kitten for adoption in Mount Cotton: Theo is a stunning little boy just wanting to be loved. Theo was visibly traumatised after being dumped in a box with his mum and brother. He was fearful of people and would seek shelter when someone approached which we think is quite understandable.
Since being separated from his mum we are seeing him starting to stand on his own four feet and we can see what a lovely natured cat he is going to be. Theo is gentle and does not bite or scratch and with the right family you will see slow but beautiful steps forward into a lovely friendship with this very deserving rescue kitten. Theo currently resides in a busy home complete with other cats, dogs, teenagers and young children. He has been staying away from visitors and from the dogs but is starting to show an interest and will now watch the dogs from the other side of the screen doors. Theo would be more suitable for a family without any small children, and a special family that can understand it will take time for him to settle in. He may not ever be a social cat with your visitors, however we can assure you that he will bond very closely with you. He can be easily won over with food, so some special bonding time hand feeding him chicken will go a long way with his settling in.
He is the perfect house-guest, is excellent with is litter and will sleep his days away on the bed.
We often hear that people who want to adopt a rescue cat want to make a difference, what to help make a change in the way animals are treated. Theo is the perfect example of a kitten who is at risk of growing up in a foster home after a sad beginning. He is a product of how people have treated him in his short life, and we know there is a special family out there just waiting for the opportunity to show him that life is actually pretty awesome, and start his story again.
