Indi – female Manx adult cat

Rescue cat for adoption in West End: 7 year old Indi is in her middle youth. Old enough to know better, yet young enough to do it again!  When prompted to play, she can still find her inner kitten, because she's loves toys, but mostly, she's quiet and gentle, and that's also the kind of home we want for her. Indi loves being stroked, and brushed, however once the checkered flag is raised, there's some serious jostling between her and her siblings for poll position, and then across the line for a brush down extravaganza. We don't know a lot about Indi and her siblings, and how it was that they were initially abandoned, so our relationship with them is based on what we've observed to date. Like the majority of cats, Indi doesn't enjoy being picked up. That's her only "please don't do that" moment, and with zero aggression, she'll struggle to free herself. She's not alone, the majority of cats complain about being picked up, given that's what a predator would do. While Indi may enjoy the friendship of another cat, especially one of her brothers, we would like to see how she copes as a single cat, doted on by her new owner. For this reason, we would encourage a foster to adopt scenario, whereby you, as the foster carer, are no under obligation to adopt.

Medical Notes

Indi has recently had a dental, so she has a winning smile!

Adoption Process

Our adoption fee includes a veterinary health check, vaccinations, microchip and spay/neuter, as required. Our adult cats are covered by a 30 day "settling in period." If you don’t believe the pet you choose is suitable, he or she may be returned to us and your adoption fee will be refunded in full. Existing health conditions are addressed at the time of the initial veterinary consultation and declared in the "medical notes" on their individual listing. During the "settling in period" we offer assurance to address any health concerns, pre-existing or otherwise, provided they are brought to our attention within 30 days from the date of adoption. This excludes any illness or injury is deemed accidental or deliberate. In the former instance, we will recommend you make an appointment with one of our participating vets for a consultation. Should you choose to use a vet of your own choice, we will not be responsible for the reimbursement of your vet fees. Please note that we do not freight our cats. Adoption applications can be completed on-line at www.petswithoutpartners.org.au where you'll find the appropriate links (to the forms) on our home page.
