Delta – female domestic short hair cat

Rescue cat for adoption in Birkdale: Ask most people involved in animal rescue, and they'll swear it's true, that black cats are the last to be adopted. Sad but true  But REMEMBER one thing - Love knows no colour! Your cat doesn't care what colour YOUR hair is, right? So then it may come as no surprise that after 18 months in foster care, Delta and her 2 black siblings Sierra and Zulu are also patiently awaiting for their loving and forever homes. Not to mention their mum Nina (who you guessed it, also black) and waiting for a home to call her own. Delta though, also known as 'Miss Have A Chat' is never short of a conversation, if you are comfortable and happy to admit you talk to your cat and they indeed do talk back. Delta is a sweet little gal who loves to sit close to those around her on the lounge and do the old pat down while meowing away. Delta also has impeccable manners and is total lady when it comes to using the litter tray. Delta was born in foster care ( in January 2015) after her mum Nina had spent nearly 3 years on the streets of Wynnum living in drains and having quite a few litter of kittens. Delta has never lived a day away from any of her siblings and would most likely be happiest with one of her brothers or sister. During Delta's time in foster care she has been around several cats, caged birds, 4 adults and has had access to a large cat enclosure. Delta has not been socialised with dogs or small children. 18 months is a long time in foster care and there is no secret that the saddest and the happiest moment will be saying goodbye to this amazing and gorgeous girl when her moment arrives when going to her forever and loving home - We call that HAPPY TEARS in rescue. AND remember when you do ADOPT a black cat 'LOVE is on your side' Delta is approximately 2 and 1/2 years old and her adoption fee is $150.
